Spring Survival Guide
|
|
Spring can be unpredictable here’s how to stay prepared:
Seal your rig against pests: Spring brings ants, mice & wasps! Seal entry points, check storage compartments for nests, and use natural repellents like peppermint oil.
Watch for tree sap & pollen:
Spring = high pollen counts, which can clog RV air filters and trigger allergies. Wash your RV regularly to prevent paint damage and clogged vents.
Stay alert for traffic & roadwork:
Spring means snowbirds, construction, and more travelers. Use apps like Google Maps or RV-specific GPS tools to check for delays and low-clearance bridges.
Check for mold & moisture:
Inspect corners, storage areas, and under mattresses for hidden mold spots and keep a small dehumidifier running.
Prepare for wildlife:
Store food securely, keep an eye on hiking trails, and be cautious at remote boondocking sites.
Ready your rig and hit the road with confidence!
